MISC - Three big problems:
1. Bill and Tom look like a couple that have agreed to get divorced but are staying together this year until the kids are out of college
2.The rest of the team is like the kids that are knowing that the parents aren’t getting along and are not responding to the tensions – they are distracted and look utterly uninspired and flat
3. If possible the defensive personnel is worse this year – they can’t tackle, no team speed, no meanness – at least the offense has Edelman and Gordon coming – defense is Davey Crockett no one is coming
Brady
*TD passes for the three weeks: 3 then 2 then 1
*Last year Brady dared the gods with the whole training method preaching and being on the cover of Madden / this year his pressure is – did he work hard enough in the offseason to be ready
Belichick Garb / Kraft Sighting
* Bill went with the gray hoodie, cut sleeves
* Kraft had two showcases for himself (I was too bored by the game to pick up the pen and write down the times)
Offense
* Patriots have taken the ball or been giving the ball to start all three games – 0 points on the three opening drives
* Hogan can’t wait for Edelman to come back and go back to being just a piece
Defense
* The worst tackling Patriots team since Rod Rust (heaven help us when someone gets a linebacker in space)
* Defensive line got their asses handed to them – consistently knocked 5 yards off the line
* Malcom Brown is average at best
Stats
*Ryan Allen is on pace to punt 80 times – last year he punted 58 times
*Lions 70 plays to 47 / Lions time of possession 39:15 to 20:45 Pats
Other
* Look out next weeks team the Dolphins are 3-0
* After three weeks the Browns have a better record than the Patriots (1-1-1 / 1-2)
* A week after Bortles torches the Pats defense the Titans and Malcom Butler hold him to 155 yards and 0 TD
* Patriots always get better as the season wears on but this is anemic at this point

* I guess Jimmy G has never seen Drew Bledsoe not step out of bounds
* While Brady chases Peyton and Favre – look at Brees stats projected over a full year: 5,749 yards / 43 TD to 0 INT
* Don’t look know but Brandin Cooks is off to a fast start – on a pace for 101 catches and 1,792 yards
*Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is on pace for 69 TD passes
