Boston Red Sox First Baseman Sam Travis Activated From DL And Back In Pawtucket, Witte To AA-Portland
Boston Red Sox first basemen prospect Sam Travis has been activated from the disabled list by the Pawtucket Red Sox with the first basemen coming back from an intercostal strain
The corresponding move for Pawtucket is transferring infielder Jantzen Witte to Double-A Portland.
Travis is hitting .292 in 65 at-bats with Pawtucket this season. Witte who has also been on the DL this season was batting .217 in 46 at-bats for Pawtucket and hasn’t been in AA since the 2016 season when he was called up to AAA.
