It was reported earlier on today by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports that Grad transfer Peter Kiss has committed to Bryant for the 2020-2021 season. He played the last two seasons for the Rutgers University Scarlet Knights.
The 6-5 guard from New York, New York played his freshman year in 2016-2017 under Tom Moore at Quinnipiac University. While at Quinnipiac, Kiss had a pretty good year. After playing in all 31 games, Kiss averaged 13.3 points per game, and took down 5.6 rebounds per game.
After a red shirt sophomore year, Kiss played in 30 games for the Scarlet Knights in 2018-2019, starting 12 games. He averaged 6 points per game and took down 2.2 points per game. Kiss did have his highest scoring output that season against NEC opponent Fairleigh Dickinson, putting up 17 points per game.
In 2019-2020 as a red shirt junior, he only played in two games. While he hasn’t seen a ton of game action over the last year, his experience of playing in a powerhouse conference like the Big Ten conference will be the biggest asset to the Bulldogs in 2020-2021. The Bulldogs are a younger team that doesn’t have a ton of experience in the bigger games. That experience of playing in bigger games will be his biggest asset to the Bulldogs.
