Revolution II: Still Looking For A First Win, Hosting First Place Greenville

New England Revolution II: Still Looking For A First Win, Hosting First Place Greenville Triumph SC At Gillette Stadium.

After a Spring without New England Revolution Soccer, the matches are now coming in fast and quick. On Wednesday Revolution II will host first-place Greenville Triumph SC at Gillette Stadium. This marks their first match of the week and second of a three-match slate that takes place over eight days.

Fans are not allowed at Gillette Stadium due to local COVID-19 restrictions so those who are interested in viewing the USL League One match can tune into ESPN+ and Youtube (Internationally).

Revs II enter the match with a 0-2-2 record while Greenville comes in with a 5-0-1 record. To say Revs II is in need of a win is an understatement. Last time out the Revolution fell to the Richmond Kickers 2-1 at home. Just like the first team, Revs II were not threatening in the final third of the pitch. As for the Triumph, they are unbeaten on the USL League One season and are winners of three straight matches. Greenville is coming off a 1-0 victory over Fort Lauderdale CF on Saturday.

Following the match Revs II will have to quickly turn things around with a Saturday match against the Chattanooga Red Wolves in Tennessee.

Revolution II take on the Greenville Triumph at 7 p.m.
