Bryant Senior Tanner Johnson Announces He’s Entered the Transfer Portal

This afternoon, Bryant University Bulldog senior Tanner Johnson announced via his Twitter account that he has entered the NCAA transfer portal. While not playing in the 2019-2020 season, he officially used the season as a red shirt season.

Tanner Johnson originally came to the Bulldogs in the 2016-2017 season. In the three seasons with the Bulldogs where he saw game action, Johnson averaged 3.7 points per game. His best season with the Bulldogs came in the 2017-2018 season. Johnson played in 24 games that year, starting in 7 games. He averaged 6.1 points per game that year while playing 16 minutes per game.

It is still unclear where he will end up, but he is currently open for recruitment. The six foot five guard from Lexington, Kentucky is an outside shooter that most teams could use off the bench.
