Bryant University Bulldog Freshman Benson Lin Wins Second Straight NEC Rookie Of Week Honor

It was announced on Monday that Bryant freshman, Benson Lin, has won his second straight NEC rookie of the week honors. This is for the week ending on December 15th.

Bryant had one game in the week ending on December 15th, a 69 to 61 win over Fordham on December 10th in the Bronx. This was the first win for the Bulldogs over an Atlantic 10 conference team in program history. In that game against the Fordham University Rams, Benson Lin scored 15 points to lead all Bulldog scorers.

Benson Lin is currently third in scoring on the team, averaging 8.8 points per game on the season. During Bryant’s three game winning streak that began on December 2nd against Navy, Lin has really turned it on as he is averaging 13.7 points per game during that stretch.
