Bryant University Bulldogs Visit Fordham University Rams On Tuesday For A Matinee Tip Off In The Bronx
The Bryant University Bulldogs will travel to the Bronx on Tuesday afternoon to take on the Fordham University Rams. A win for the Bulldogs on Tuesday would be the programs first win over an Atlantic 10 opponent.
Fordham is currently 5 and 3 on the season. Their last time out on Saturday, the Rams fell by a score of 54 to 53 in overtime to Manhattan. This will be their third game this season against a NEC opponent. They won the first two game, a 68 to 59 win over ST. Francis. They also had a 53 to 50 win over Fairleigh Dickinson.
Offensively, the Rams are led by Chuba Ohams who has averaged 11.9 points per game and Antwon Portley who’s averaged 11.3 points per game. But what helps the Rams is their defense. They currently rank 10th in the nations in points per game allowed at 56.3.
If the Bulldogs are able to score on Tuesday afternoon, it could easily lead to a win. That will start with Adam Grant. Grant has scored more then 20 points seven time this season. If Grant is able to hit his baskets, especially from three point range, the Bulldogs have a legitimate shot of winning on Tuesday afternoon.
Fans can watch the game on Tuesday afternoon, live on ESPN+ beginning at 12:00 PM.
