Bryant University Bulldogs With A Big Win Over The United States Navel Academy Midshipmen Lead By Benson Lin 19 Points On The Night
The Bryant University Bulldogs hosted the United States Naval Academy Midshipmen on Monday night. While Bryant looked to build upon their 4 and 4 record this season, and they were able to. Bryant was able to knock off the Midshipmen by a score of 60 to 45. With the win, Bryant improves to 2 and 4 all time against the Midshipmen.
Coming into the night, Navy had a big advantage in the rebound margin, averaging +9.7 rebounds per game. Tonight, they did rebound the Bulldogs 39 to 34. But the Bulldogs defense on the night was able to hold Navy as they only shot 31.7% from the field on the night.
Hall Elisias helped with the defense in the second half, as he had 8 blocks. All 8 blocks were in the second half. That is one block shy of the programs all time record held by Papa Lo, who had 9 blocks against Long Island on December 3rd, 2009.
Benson Lin led all Bulldogs scorers on the night with 19 points. That included being 4 for 9 from 3 point land. Adam Grant also had 12 points for the Bulldogs on the night, which included being 3 for 8 from 3 point range.
